Donations

There are two ways to support our choir program!

Thank you for your generous contributions! They allow us to offer high-quality programming in all facets of our choral department!

Vocal Music Patrons

This money is used for our curricular choir program. Donors will be listed in our concert programs for the school year in which they donate!

The City High Vocal Music department is a comprehensive program consisting of four curricular choirs, two extra-curricular concert choirs, and two show choirs, serving 150 students. Each year, we incur several costs, including replacing tuxedos and dresses, purchasing new music, purchasing music folders, and other miscellaneous supplies. We have historically supported new music and have commissioned several composers to write pieces for our choirs. We also have been able to bring guest conductors to work with our choirs using these funds, including Timothy Brown from the University of Cambridge, England, and world-renowned composer/conductor Z. Randall Stroope.

Show Choir Patrons

This money is earmarked specifically for our show choir program. Donors will be listed in our Winter and Spring show programs for the school year in which they donate!

City High Show Choir has two co-curricular show choirs, two show choir bands, and a show choir crew that include approximately 140-160 students, ranging in age from 13-18, in any given year. This fundraising campaign will help raise money for new and updated instruments, props, theatrical lighting and sound, clinicians, and other general expenses related to show choir not covered by the District
