4th Ave. Jazz Company

4th Ave. Jazz Company is the premier show choir organized for students interested in the performance of modern, popular, rock, jazz, and musical theater music. Emphasis is placed on becoming a total performer – both aural and visual aspects are stressed.

4th Ave. is directed by Tyler Hagy and assistant directed by Emma Erner and Sophie Good.

Singing and dancing are required in rehearsal and in auditions.

The group rehearses 6 hours per week outside of school.

Students selected for membership are required to attend all rehearsals and performances, travel to all competitions and festivals, and purchase or rent a performance uniform.

4th Ave. is an extension of the curricular choral ensembles. The group includes singers, a full combo band, and stage crew. All singers in 4th Ave. are also involved in one of City High's curricular choirs.
