Concert Choir

An auditioned, select mixed choir (grades 11-12): the course emphasizes solo and small ensemble singing, correct singing technique, music literacy skills, and the study and performance of sacred and secular works from the Renaissance Period through the present day.

Concert Choir performs at each City High vocal music concert and school/community functions. The ensemble is the lead ensemble for the bi-annual Masterworks concert.

Students in this ensemble participate in other musical offerings within the department, including show choir, honor choirs, youth choruses, Solo & Ensemble Festival, and extra-curricular vocal ensembles.
