Advanced Treble Ensemble

An auditioned, select treble choir (grades 10-12): the course emphasizes the enjoyment of singing, exposure to the many styles of choral music, and development of the interpersonal and musical skills necessary for excellent choral performance, including sight-singing and vocal independence.

Advanced Treble Choir collaborates with Concert Choir in the bi-annual Masterworks Concert, performs at each City High vocal music concert, and participates in many school and community functions.

Students in this ensemble participate in other musical offerings within the department, including show choir, honor choirs, youth choruses, Solo & Ensemble Festival, and extra-curricular vocal ensembles.

Advanced Treble Ensemble is directed by Matt Walker.
